Default Fast or Vic?

What would be better a fast intake and TB or a Vic/Vic junior with a carb style TB on top? stock ls1 bottom end, afr225's, 236/242 .615 .615 111LSA, 5000 edge converter

Vague question.

Street/strip or mostly race? RPM range?

regardless of intended use, that 5k stall is going to remove any low end the vic jr would give up to the fast.

i specd a cam almost identical to that one for a friend (109+0 lsa) and it pulled clean to 7300 (didn't fall off on the dyno, he just didn't want to spin a stock short 6.0 any faster) with an out of the box vic jr and edelbrock 90mm tb. no porting to either. 6.0 with 243s.

as of now, with ls6 intake shifts are at 6800ish...the thing needs more air big time! It will be mostly strip with the occasional drive around town with cutout closed to try to pick a race

My friend is about to change from his fast to the vic with carb style throttle body. He did research on it and found a dyno sheet of 30 HP increase vs the fast. You should def go that route IMO.

I had the fast 102mm and the vic with the elbow. The fast is better intake and i went faster at the track with it. I lost alot of low tq and gained a little hp up top at 7,200rpm's over the fast 6,800 peak. I had mammo port mine and it made a nice gain over the port job i had before. My fast hold on great past 7,000 for the style intake. If you like to drive the car a mammo ported fast will be nice.

super vic, no elbow, 4150 tb on top....will walk all over a fast, except for under 3k, seeing your intended goals, I would say that doesnt matter much..
