should I switch to true duals?
Right now my car has 1 7/8 headers, ory, and a hooker catback with a cutout. Its got a MS4, PRC 215s, and a ported FAST 102. I like how it sounds now I was just wondering if I would pick up enough power to make the changes? thanks

Your setup right now probably flows pretty well. I'd be willing to bet switching over to true dual's wouldn't give you too much of an increase in power over what you have. However, it will change the sound.

Ok I'm gonna need it to be pretty quiet because cops are dicks around here. What would be a nice quiet set up. The car is hardly driven but I had true duals with single chamber flowmasters on my Z at one point and it was crazy loud. I got 2 tickets and eventually had to take it off.

Another thing to my tips only had like 2 1/4 imnlets so the muffler shop just ran about 10 inches back from the tips and then flared it out to go over the 3 inch pipe. I think thats how but either way the tail pipes are 2 1/4 and im thinking that might have choked a little but not when the cutout is open.

You definitely make more power than me. But i went from a magnaflow catback to TSP duals w/bullets dumped and i love it.. The sound of pure muscle. It will be very loud, But a damn good loud...
I also noticed a bit of SOTP pull harder higher RPM with duals over the magnaflow. It seemed like it woke up my car alot.

I say leave it the way it is. Right now you can be very loud or pretty quit in a flip of a switch. You can sound fairly modded or like a damn drag car. I have the same setup. I love it. I just switched over to this from a true dual setup. I had it ran out the back and it was a pain in the *** with making it fit and not bang all over the place. Plus I was just loud all the time with them. I would wake up the neighborhood with my true duals. I don't think you will really see too much of a gain with the true duals over 1 7/8 headers and a cutout. If you do it will be minimal and not worth the money it will cost to fab a system up. I love my setup and won't go back. Just my .02.
