Default PPO Stealth Lid

I plan on getting the PPO stealth lid. I tried a search but only found a thread or two from 2002. Anyone have any opinions or experience with one?

Heres what I am talking about:

Thanks

I don't disagree, but some of the other lid companies claim 10-12hp, which is also BS.

It comes with a larger lower air box.

Thats what I figured, and I would think it would have a SLIGHT edge over others. I am thinking either get this or continue searching for a Blackwing at a reasonable price...

17 to the rear is bs. a lid is a lid. companys like this just try to sucker people in with promises. buy a lid but dont fall for the "smooth bellows" garbage. 60 bucks for something you can get at home depot for 5 bucks is bull.

speaking of smooth bellows.... theres one i see on here alot its like a straight tube with orange around the ends and gray-ish in the middle. i want to say its a home depot one but not sure. sorry for the thread jack.

and yea a lid is a lid. may pick up a few with the bigger lower air box but nothing noticable.

The opening looks the same size as stock. What they don't show you is the rear comparison. Don't warden the extra 20 bucks. You can find brand new SLP lids for 90 all day on eBay.

Yea 17rwh is just to compete with others who claim rediculous amounts of hp.
The kit is very interesting though I would love to see a dyno test. I would like to see how well it would work with a cai kit to.

I've gotta dissagree with that, the opening in the front looks like it is slightly larger due to the larger air filter, not to mention how much bigger the openng in the bottom is. Also $20 for a K&N filter, whole new lower air box, and smooth bellows doesn't seem bad. Plus it seems like there is a 50% chance that the SLP lid won't seal right from what I've heard people say about them.

They have a dyno sheet that I will post when I get to a computer, but who knows if that is completely accurate or not...
