Shorty headers, fit issues? yay or nay on overall quality
I'm going to switch back to manifolds or shorty. More than likely shorty unless I hear from some people in another thread. I'm looking at these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-65733/?rtype=10 . My goal is not HP at all I just want to be close to stock, pass emissions every time and get rid of ALL annoyances that come with Long Tubes. I would like to hear from anyone who is running them or if you know of a better product. How did your install go, quality, stock attachments, gaskets, which cats are you running, any SES lights?
Thank you in advance!

Hi, I used to have a set of BBK Shorties. The fit and finish was great, easy to install and plenty of wire clearance though I did use boot protectors (more for the look than anything). Also, i ran them in Chrome and not Ceramic. They did blue up pretty quickly but didn't rust up or anything. You can use a Random Tech Ypipe either off road or catted because it is a direct replacement for the stock Y to bolt to Manifolds. Just a suggestion.
Oh, and a friends C5 gained 10 RWHP on a dynojet with a set of BBKs on his C5 over manifolds. A perk!

had JBA shorties on the car when i bought it. i used to swap them in and out with my pacesetters to pass smog but i'm tired of that so i'm keeping them on for now. no fitment issues whatsoever.
