Default anyone else make 6.300 rod length for lsx?

After searching, Lunati is all that I can come up with. I found some SBC rods but want the LS1 no offset.

thanks in advance

There are a few shelf-stock 6.340" and 6.350" rods with no offset for the LSx stuff. What crank and piston (CD) are you going to run?

Just snooping around for this. I'm doing a destroked 6.0, with a 4.8 crank. Gonna need some 6.300 rods and figure out some Pistons to run.

Have people been breaking the genIV rods? Do you require forged ?

If not, you can use stock 3.27" crank and stock 6.275" rods, with stock 1.331" ls2 pistons... The difference being +.001" over using the stock ls2 rotating assembly.

Or you can use some DSS 4.03" x 1.140" forged pistons and some eagle 6.460" forged rods. This puts you .005" below deck, and sets you up for a good quench using a .030" gasket. Puts you at a pretty fantastic 1.98 rod ratio, as well.

The 3.27" crank/6.46" rod/4.03" piston combination with some ls9 heads and a LSA blower is absolutely something I want to try. I think of it as my "quasi-COPO 328". And I plan on building it, even if I can only afford to use the oem rotating assembly parts.

I think I saw a 6.350 in the Callies catalog.

There's a 6.35" rod available from callies, yes.
There is also a 6.35 available from Manley, for half the price of the callies.

But you're going to be hard pressed to beat the 6.46" eagles with the 4" x 1.140" dss pistons on the 3.27" crank.
