Default eBay Throttle Body

I'm looking to pick up a ported LS1 throttle body. There are search results in our own forums in the classifieds, but I also came across on eBay. The guy is supposedly a sponsor on here.

I'm planning on keeping my stock TB for now so I'll be paying the core fee. The finish and quality look to be good as well.

Opinions?

Thanks guys and gals.

P.S. - If this has already been covered in the searches, I may have passed over it. Forum searches and 2:30am aren't always a good combination

how much hp gain suposivly do u get from a ported tb compared to stock one, i have a custom comp cam, k&n intake and bunch on internal motor work, dynoed at 430rwhp wat would be best for me to upgrade to, funds kinda low so ls6 intake and all kinda out of the question for now.

LS1 3 bolt wise is 85mm(though they might make a 90 now)

Didn't realize it was that cheap. Don't mean to hijack either, but would you need to be re-tuned with this swap? Is it worth doing on a stock internal motor with ls6 intake?

Thank you.

Just like any other mod. You don't NEED to be tuned, but im sure other's will highly suggest it if you wan the most out of the mod. Besides for the price of the POTZ throttle body its always worth giving it a shot. But theres no doubt in my mind that it will yield power.

I know bolt on hondas who run 70-72mm TB and see a nice gain.
Why wouldn't a 5.7l motor react positively to a bigger TB?

Honest truth, no dyno to back it up, but it was definitely a bolt-on mod that I could FEEL. Well worth it, in my opinion.
