Default Gutted my cats, white smoke

I recently gutted my cats and since I have had a little bit of white smoke for a few seconds when I turn off my car or idle. Is this because the cats arent there to clean the exhaust anymore? Just wanted to make sure this isnt a huge deal for right now.

Mine didnt do that when I removed the cats. You should have just bought a used set and saved your original cats in case of anything bad happening.

did the smoke go away or is it still there? I have stripped cats and i might have the slightest hint of white smoke until it heats up. do you have any water mist (little droplets) that get sprayed out the tailpipe that you can see on the ground behind the exhaust. I do, not so much when i start it in the middle of the day but alot when i start it at night. Might just be condensation... I hope...

Not oil. The coolant light has been on even though its full which I think is just the sensor. But it is a possibility.

im eventually gonna put a catback behind it. The cutout is really loud to drive everyday with no cats:p and the flowmaster muffler behind it is too quiet. Probably gonna get a TSP rumbler

ty, guess ill just have to get used to it, i still want a catback kinda tired of hearing my exhaust right under me plus the cutout kinda rattles and sounds like an exhaust leak at time. Is texas speed rumbler good with no cats?
