Need help? What Mods Next?
Not sure where to go from here on my 2002 firehawk? Car only sees quarter mile track couple times a year. mods so far are:
• SLP Headers
• Volant Cold Air Intake
• COMP Cam
• Heads, Intake and Throttle body
Ported and polished by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering
• Dyno tuned by Exotic Performance Plus, Columbia City, IN
• MAF Delete
• Flowmaster muffler W/ Electric cut out
• 6 Speed Transmission with Steel Shift Forks, Bronze Fork Pads, Billet Synchro Keys
• MGW Short Throw Shifter
• RAM HD Clutch
• Moser Ford 9” Rear Axle with 4:11 gear and Truetrac limited slip Differential
• Competition Engineering Adjustable Drag Shocks
• Spohn solid motor mounts
• UMI 3 Point Sub-Frame Connectors
• Shock Tower Brace
• BMR Torque Arm
• BMR Torque Arm Relocation Bracket
• Founders Performance Lower Control arms and Panhard Bar
• Drilled/Slotted Rotors with Ceramic Pads
• SJM Line Lock
• 220 AMP Alternator with upgraded power wires
Any help or suggestions appreciated, Thinking about maybe a Spohn kmember with manual steering rack n pinion, but not sure if its worth money for a weekend cruiser?

Yeah, other than possibly stepping up whatever intake you have a notch I can't think of much else. You have the car pretty much dialed in other than having some sort of FI. I would start building the bottom end for some boost, there's nothing else that can really be done that will yield you a bunch more power than what you already have.

Thanks for replies!! I dont really know much about FI so I would have to start doing some homework... seems like I would have to pretty much start over on engine tho right?? new heads, cam, intake, ext...?
What you guys think about solid motor mounts? when I searched i didnt find a lot of negatives other than vibrations which i dont mind, But had reply saying to lose the solids before it messes up my block??

I've never heard of it messing up a block but then again I haven't really dug into info on the solids. I went poly and I didn't notice any more vibrations with those. Maybe somebody else will chime in. You could also go to true duals on your car. I just did recently and the car seems to pull itself around alot better than before. I haven't ran it hard because I'm breaking in my 9 inch but it seems to be quite a bit more responsive.

I figured if high HP drag cars can run solids so mine should be just fine, but I cant help worrying about it when somebody mentions it could mess up my block.
my exhaust is kind of weird. It comes off the headers into any x pipe then after the xpipe one side opens immediately into a dump with an electric cut out. the other side runs back over the axle into a flowmaster muffler. I kind of like having the option to run it quite but I do wonder if its the best way to go?

If its only dumping 1 side of the exhaust I wouldn't imagine that being very good/effective. Unless both sides are coming into it 1 and then it dumps. the only thing I could see being different about your car and a race car would be the amount of time its actually being driven. You take a race car less than 3 miles maybe 20 or so times a year vs. one vacation in a street car and you've got just as much time driving it. Do a little digging around and I'm sure you'll find a definate answer on it.
