5.3 intake
I'm new here and have a dumb question.
I'm planning on putting a 5.3 in a 1953 Chevy truck but I want to run a carb instead of efi. What intake should I use?

Hope I wasn't to vague on the answer, got in a hurry when I was posting. BTW, people who DON'T ask questions to gain information are in fact the ones who remain...well dumb. Asking and sharing info is what this site is about.

Im a sponsor here and have some specials running right now on the intakes as well as the matching MSD controller. PM me about any questions for the swap as well as special sale pricing on parts.

Caution on Edelbrock Kit
Just a couple words of warning on the Edelbrock intake/controller combo.
First: If you purchase the Edelbrock intake and the MSD ignition controller separate, it is cheaper then the Edelbrock package! The kit does come with the throttle cable and tranny cable bracket, but these parts as well can be purchased separately.
Second: The ign. control box with the Edelbrock kit IS an MSD box, minus the laptop tunable features. The Edelbrock version uses "pills" to change the timing curve. The MSD controller is laptop tunable/customizable.
Other then that, sweet project! I plan to build up a 47'-53' chev truck someday! Lets see some pics!! Good luck!

I guess I should do an introduction before I say much more
I'm Josh from Nebraska, I'm 19 going to the local community college to get a degree in automotive tech and bought a '53 Chevy truck from one of my dad's friends
I don't have the engine yet but I can get one from a local junkyard for about $400 with less than 80k on it
here are a few pics, I need to resize the others
