Default Question about cruise control delete?

I have an A4 Z28,and want to pitch my cruise control. Do I need a throtle cable from a M6 car? I also need to know if, I can cut the cable leading to box behind drivers side front bumper?

Why cut? It's easily removed and sold on eBay. The
cruise cable unclips from the throttle (non-TCS), taking
off a TCS car might need you to pull apart the "gizmo"
slightly. I've swapped over to non-TCS cables and it
was no worse than any other maintenance activity.
The cruise assembly is connectorized, and the cable
"tape" end comes out easily if you just pull its cover.
