Aftermarket Water Pumps
Just wondering what kind/brand of aftermarket water pumps everyone was using. My stock pump went out Saturday and I've gotten in the habit of upgrading when I replace but I'm not sure which one to go with.
I was thinking about going with this one:

Anyone had any experience with it?
I'm open to all suggestions, I don't wanna get something that people have had bad luck with. Thanks.

That's a nice pump, but you also need to buy the pulley for it which is about $85. $319+85= $404 and that's a lot of money. You can buy a brand new AC Delco for $185 and much cheaper if you get a rebuilt pump.

The only difference between the stock pump and one I posted about above is that with the ls2 pump the rear cover is pressed on so the bolt boss that gets in the way of the FAST 102 doesn't exist. Other than that they're identical.

I am using the Edelbrock waterpump in my 1967 Elco with a LS1 motor. I had one issue with the waterpump pulley, since I am running a Billet serpantine system the edelbrock pulley would not work. I had the stock pulley pressed off of the OEM pump and had it machined to fit on the Edelbrock waterpump works great and looks even better.
