Default Anyone ever port the stock lid???

Wondering if anyone has done this..... Thinking about using a dremel and various burs and flapper wheels to grind out the ribs on the stock lid. Smooth it out also. Is this worth my time??? I have read numerous stories about how aftermarket lids do not fit corretly. Really do not want to deal with that issue.

Input please

Any aftermarket lid is far superior to any mods you can make on a stock one...cheap too

My slp seems to fit fine. You probably could knock the plate/baffle like things out of the stock lid and cut the air silencer and epoxy some plasitic over it but you'd probably end up with something that flowed less than before you worked on it. My quartermileperformance lid imo fits better than any lid I've used but unfortunately they don't make them anymore. Maybe you could find one of those used but I would just buy an SLP.
