Default Running pipes out the back

With these 3" duals...It shouldn't affect it to run 2.5" pipes after the mufflers under the axle out the back for clearence will it? In other words will this little restriction make a difference?

It shouldn't, unless you're making serious horsepower, like 450+

Why not stick with 3" all the way? Ive got 3" duals from headers to tips.
