Default Help.....high idle

Just finished putting on the ls6 intake and slp lid. Plugged eveything back in and soon as I start it strait to 3k rpm. Sounds like a vac leak but I hooked all the hoses that I unplugged. I also removed the egr and put a block off plate on the manifold. Im going to double check the hoses but idk im pretty sure that are all on and not pinched.....any ideas. Btw I only let it run for maybe 45 sec. Idle should not be at 3k rpm so I sut it down......

Seals on the intake can be lost / crushed / take a set
(old foam) etc.

The little PCV boot is prone to crack with any wiggling.
You could probably hear it hissing if so.

Thanks for your reply. It was the throttle cable. The bracket on the new intake is pulling on the cable ever so slightly and will not let it close all the way. I loosened the rear bolt on the bracket and it went to normal idle. I put the other bracket from my ls1 intake and no difference. Anyone else have this problem? I can you adjust the cable to give it more slack?
