Question Cutout lubricant?

What would be the best thing to use to lubricate the moving parts of a cutout after cleaning it? Given the heat it is exposed to, I'm not sure what to use.

I like chain lube. Like for 4 wheelers. I use that crap on everything. It works great.

Chain wax. Comes in a spray can. Sticks to everything for a long time so watch what you get it on.

Bar&Chain for a chainsaw or Chainwax for MotoX... I have both and they work well for weathered use...

Where would be the best brick and mortar place to find chain lube/wax? Can it be found at Walmart or should I venture out to a Lowes/Home Depot/Sears?

I like engine assembly lube for a lot of things, it's basically a graphite
loaded grease.

My cutout gearbox was too crusty to get opened up, I used Lock-Eze
(spray graphite) to do what I could on the butterfly shaft. But you
want to get the gearbox greased if you can.

Over here we have a copper graphite grease I would use on on my chevy motored Jet boat exhaust manifold bolts, was brilliant in that they never seized up.
