I'm looking for new exhaust for my 2001 formula. I just picked it up and it is a bone stock m6 with low miles. I'm gonna grab a catback next week. Might get headers and ory down the road. I like the sound of the loudmouth 2 b/c it is fairly loud and it sounds mean...but not raspy like the lm1. I'll let the headers and ory take care of the extra volume. Are there any other suggestions for around the same price of the lm2 to look at before I order in a few days?

I would get a catted y if you are worried about noise. That set up will be really loud. You could get a quiet cat back and install a cut out. Just a thought.

if you plan to do longtubes,internals,etc it will end up sounding just as bad, on a close to stock car the lm1,2 sound great on a pretty modded car i didnt care for it at all, if you are looking to stay with a catback i would look into a gmmg ( i dont even know if they are still made) or a borla/corsa. those are all loud catbacks that sound pretty good, the gmmg is my fav. catback, if the duals didnt kick every catbacks *** i would have a gmmg,

just like BOBS said..it will be VERY loud later with long tubes let alone the rasp...i would go at least with a magnamouth instead with an ory...catted Y is a different story tho.
