stock exhaust manifolds any good for turbo setup

stock exhaust manifolds any good for turbo setup I asume its cheeper to go with the stock exhaust manifolds and join them to gether then pipe it to the turbo as to buying headers for a turbo setup. has anyone ever used stock manifolds on a turbo set up. i know that its a commin issue that the bolts brake off in the heads so i know ill have to buy stronger/ harder manifold/header bolts.
