Thumbs up longtube headers installed rubbing issues

just installed my stainless long tube headers and the driver side header is rubbing on a metal rod on the K-member it goes from back where the A-arm bushings are located to the front of the k-member it is held in place by two bolts does this piece matter as far as being support on the K-member or can i just remove it?

mark where its hitting, take it off put it in a vice and bend it slightly, then open the holes a bit.... youll be fine... You could also take it off but if it were me, id try to make it fit..

You would only need to bend it about half an inch, would take like 3 minutes. I'd leave it there if you can find a way around it just to be safe

Mine has that bar, maybe it's a vert only thing. My ebay headers also hit it, I put a 1/4" washer on the front side and bent the bar just enough to clear.

Exclamation

Well I fixed the problem with the stabilizer bar and I'm still rubbing the four primary tubes coming down in between the k-member on the driver side are still rubbing looks like i could cut the k-member so they could clear but should I just try something else instead of hacking away at it? It's a let down on all the hard work it took to get them in there and now I have problems:/

this is common with ebay headers...most of people with them have the same issue. how bad does it touch? you could try and massage the K member..
