Hooker 1 7/8 LT Headers
Hi, so i'm in the market for 1 7/8 headers since my T/A is undergoing a H/C/I build among other things, while im leaning towards TSP 1 7/8 I'm also interested in hooker 1 7/8 headers also since I found a set for cheaper than the TSP's and i'm on a budget so Kooks and ARH are out of the question unless I can find a really good deal on a set which I highly doubt so I need some info on 1 7/8 hooker headers from people that have used them, so here's my question's do they have any fitment issues, do they tuck up decent, are there any install issues. My car is slammed so I need a header that doesn't hang to low, I also will be running a custom ORY with 3" magnaflow merge, 3" electric cutout and hooker catback. I'm not interested in 1 3/4 headers at all or material type since im in FL just a decent horsepower increase. Thanks In Advance!!!

I have a set. Got them for dirt cheap because they were "display" headers. Love them. They fit great and construction is nice. And, they measure the full 1 7/8 on the INSIDE of the pipe. Most headers measure from the outside. They have velocity spikes in the collectors also.

When I was researching headers years ago from what I came up with is that Hooker headers are good and basically the same quality as pacesetter. So unless your want stainless your better off going with pacesetters and saving a little cash

i have 1 7/8 hooker headers on my car. the fitment is AWESOME, i didn't have to cut anything to put them in, quality is good, i've got the ceramic coated one not stainless, wish i get stainless... i have not got the car dyno'd yet but i will on friday. SOTP the car pulls way harder than it was before with midlength headers.
