Default My car run by itself!! P0101 and P0106 code

Today when I started my car, it rev all the way up to 3k rpm by itself. Then it struggle between 1k-3k rpm. Take it out around the block, it'll give gas by itself and drive (I've a M6) if clutch still engaged. Once I disengage the clutch it rev back up to 3-4k rpm. Also engine light came on with a P0106, P0171 and P0174 code and the traction control not working.

This has been happened for last couple weeks randomly but it just rev to 2k rpm and then went back to normal in a couple seconds. This time it just either keep revving or struggle. I replaced a brand new MAP sensor, clean the MAF and flash back stock table still no luck. Now it gives P0101 and P0106. I didn't take out the intake manifold to replace the MAP but I don't see any vacuum hose damage. Maybe, I don't know.

The only mod is long tube headers and FAST 90/90. I've been driving this for years without touching anything and no problem at all. I give it a quick scan and the MAP reading is sky high even at idle. When key on engine off it reads 30 inHg. I attached the scan file.

Any advance please?

Unplug the traction control and cruise control and see if the problem stops.

My guess would be a vacuum leak somewhere but you might have an issue with the MAP considering the light is on for it...

I've had a similar issue before and it ended up being a massive vacuum leak. As stated though, it definitely could be a MAP issue.

I already put in a new MAP sensor and reflash the stock table to PCM. What else could it be related to the MAP?

So to bump this...did you ever get it straightened out? My car likes to run by itself too like you are describing, except it stops randomly after a little bit. I just got the P106 code again tonight (also code for clutch switch but that's a different issue).
