Default Inspection with the lm1

I have an appointment setup next week to remove the cats from my car. Right now I have long tubes / catted y / lm1. At idle its very quiet (once warmed up). Almost stock like. My question is should I be able to get by inspection with the ory? The shop I go to is pretty laid back and there is no visual check. If all else fails its a quick fix to weld the cats back in

I really dont have any emissions but I was wondering once this set up is warmed up if it will idle decently. Meaning not over the top once its warmed up. Last time I was there they made a few comments about it being loud but they liked the car, so that helped lol

Really not 100% sure on what you're asking here. Are you trying to figure out whether or not it will pass inspection with the O/R Y or do you want to know how it's probably going to sound?

JW if once its warmed up is it possible to keep it quiet as long as you dont touch the gas. (thats how it is now)

My buddy has a cut out / ory / lts and its pretty quiet just idling. Guessing this will sound close to that.

I've personally heard the exact setup that you're going to be running in person on a '01 SS. It was pretty loud and raspy under any type of throttle. However at warm idle it wasn't bad at all, but you could easily tell that it wasn't stock. Should definitely be louder all over though than how it is now. Cats make a huge difference.

FYI, It will have that distinct "No Cats"smell it, and if you're worried about it being to loud then leave the cats on.

**** cats. I hit at least one a week, LOL.

Seriosly, it depends on what type of inspection you have. If its a visual (check to see if you have cats) you're fooked. Well, you can just tell them they're built into the collectors. Yes, it's worked for me before.

If not, it's just an OBD2 check. You're golden IF YOU HAVE A TUNE.

Anyways, at warm idle, with TSP LT's, their ORY, and a LM1, it's pretty tame. Emphasis on idle. Anything above that and you're turtle-heading.

I'm on mobile, and can't see what state you're from, but seriously, if it's an OBD2 state, you should be fine.

A $20 taped to the steering wheel never hurt anyone either.....

Not trying to get into politics, as I was stationed in San Diego for a while, but they seriously just need to be their own country. Some of the **** they come out with is ridiculous.

I was just listening to your other vids and surprisingly this doesnt seem to sound any different than mine does now. It sounds tame. Unless I just have a high tolerence for exhaust.
