Default Flipping TPS

I have a tight bend silicone 90 on my TB right now and Im about 1/8 inch away from my radiatior. What I was thinking about doing is cutting the 5/8" lip off the the TB and welding an aluminium tube to the TB directly to gain some more room for a nitrous plate. Now the main issue i see is the TPS connector hitting, so I was thinking if I cut the TB shaft on the outside of the TB between the throttle cam and TB flip it 180 and reweld this would flip the TPS connector to the back and allow the aluminium tube to clear. This would also allow the physical butterfly to be removed if need after the tube is welded because the torx screws are now facing the rear.

Is my thinking flawed or am i thinking wrong? Has anyone done this?
