Since tsp y not available...pacesetter y?..
Trying to get a better y pipe then the homemade mess currently under my car with the pacesetter LT's.
The tsp is back ordered and wanting to get this done before the next 3 races and the end of racing in Phx till the fall.
Is the tsp that much better of a y-pipe then the pacesetter one? Are there some others that would fit and tuck up under the car and flow well?
I am open to suggestions. Thx!

Pacesetter is crap, really all y pipes suck. If it were me I woukd wait for the tsp or have one made with a flowmaster merge.the tsp has a really good merge and that will help with rasp and overall sound.honest I hate y pipes there sound just sucks. If you want your car to sound great true duals with a x pipe

Do not get the Pacesetter Y. It is complete crap. The merge is pretty much just a pipe welded into the side of another pipe, and the inside at that merge isn't even cleaned up. Wait for the TSP or make sure to find one with a flowmaster type merge. Or just have one fabbed up with a flowmaster merge.

I dropped an honest .3 sec in the 1/4 mile going from TSP true duals to a Pacecetter y-pipe with no other changes. Put a new style TSP y-pipe (modified the outlet to a true 3 inch outlet) on and got my .3 sec back.

Bird,
I am not sure I followed you. You went faster going from a dual setup to a pacesetter y?
The car sounds fine as is with a magnaflow muff on, but the homemade y from the previous owner hangs down, is a collection of chopped up pieces and smashed to boot.
When I called a few of the muffler shops in town they wanted to use 2" to make their own. None would do a 3".
