Default Cut out problem

So I had a local shop weld my cut out on Like a month ago and they welded it right before the over axle like I wanted but too close to I guess where the rear passenger seat is. So when I go over the smallest bumps the flange hits the car. It seems like the pipe needs to come back a half inch to an inch to clear this problem should I try adjusting the pipes or do you guys think the mufflex exhaust bump stop hanger would work best?

There might be enough slack length in one of the slip
fit connections to get you some clearance. Probably
not going to be easy to move but maybe with a crowbar
against the axle.

Mine is at the axle arch and I have an inch or more
clearance.
