Fantastic Kooks headers
Everyone will just have to deal with this post.....
A few weeks back I decided to blow a big amount of dough on what I thought was the best header I could get. Today they arrived. I cannot put them down. The Kooks long tube headers I bought are quite simply a work of art. I'm beyond happy with my decision for headers. Regardless of how meaningless this post is I had to shout out to the world "I got my Kooks LT headers today and they are beautiful!" Many thank yous to SPEED ENGINEERING for my purchase. I'm waiting still on my O2 simulators and 'Vette rear O2 sensors and my 3" Kooks ORY. The Loudmouth system on my car is gonna sound CRAZY! I was quite pleased that the included install kit contained MLS gaskets and quality header bolts! For just being factory stainless these things are freaking shiny! Absolutely fantastic craftsmanship on these.
Doesn't matter if this post is wiped out or something. I just wanted to share to anyone with an open ear my happiness. All hell's breakin' lose when these puppies get installed!

Yup... if you've got the money to blow... you can't go wrong with Kooks..
I'll note that i didn't change my motor mounts. but the ypipe stays where it should doesn't bang like some other setups i've heard do.

A note about the "banging" that some y-pipe's have. It prolly has to do with whether or not it has a passenger side mounting bracket or not. I have noted that Kooks has it as well as QTP.

Coming from someone who did polys with entire exhaust in, just do the motor mounts while they're out lol. If you get it together and it bangs, it's too late. Really though, there is more to it than that. If you change them and look at the old ones you will realize why it is a good investment. Just do it once and get it over with. Congrats on the headers though! I'm living with my Pacesetters :/ Rust and all...

I was this excited when I got my headers too Had them lay around in my house teasing me for about a week before I had the time to finally install them! Have fun! Also, I didn't replace my motor mounts... No banging for me either with 162,xxx miles on my car

No its got the kooks true duals no cats best sounding exhaust on a f body imo. Im putting in a 429 ls3 that should give me at least 630 rwhp and has a .630 lift cam it should sound even better.
