Question Question for Improved Racing re: Low Profile Oil Cooler Adapter

I have a question regarding the new Improved Racing Low Profile Oil Cooler Adapter

Regarding the 1/8" NPT ports on the front-lower and bottom edges of the part, which line is each ported to? Does the front-lower port to the "OUT" line, and the lower port to the "IN" line??

Thanks!
Mark.

That is correct. The one near the OUT port is best for oil temp. The other one is best for oil pressure or a turbo oil feed line. When installing a sensor in the port near the IN line, make sure it doesn't protrude more than 0.4" into the adapter as this can restrict oil flow.

We now have an instruction manual up, take a look at page 2: http://www.improvedracing.com/manuals/IR-EGM-1006.pdf

If you have any other questions, let us know.

Thanks!

Michael

Looking to add an oil cooler here. Does the low profile piece have a built-in thermostat?

It does not. We are working on one with a built-in thermostat, but it won't be as slim.
