Talking Longer Magnamouth/ Magnapack catback comparison?

has anyone used the 30" round muffler (instead of the shorter 14"?) from magnaflow? Post sound clips review/ opinions. I would like some on a stock ls1 camaro/ firebird. specifically part number 12641/ 6" round

I couldn't see using anything larger than a 5" dia. case without having clearance issues with the drive shaft. I've used a Magnaflow #12867 with really good results, it does a much better job toning down the DB level than the #14419.

I ended up using a 25inch 3inch inlet thrush glasspack which has the same preforated core as the race bullet, and it deff quieted my car down alot, and its a 4inch round body so it doesnt give up clearance. I know its not magnaflow but its the closest things to getting a long resonator in there.

Another Magnaflow option if you don't mind Aluminized steel is the #18129 (4" dia., 18" case),and it's under $50.

Ive got a sound clip and photo's of the Magnaflow #12867 installed in the I-pipe, but my car is cammed, has LT header, ORY-pipe, and it's dumped before the rear end.

It sounds so much deeper in person with Ton's of Tone. Really nice setup. and pretty cheap.

Here's mine with a magnaflow#12867, yeah it's loud but remember it's cammed with LT headers an ORY-pipe. With cats, a full length exhaust, and stock or very small cam it'll be a lot quieter.
