Default fast 102 problem

I just got my fast 102 manifold in today and was looking at it and three on the runners have gaps between them and the lover shell. Is this normal? should i be concerned about problems and tuning my new motor?

looks like the runners have been taken out and not seated all the way back down when put together. take off the top cover and see if you can push them into place better.

i don't know if thats a normal gap or not, but it seals up with an o ring there. pull the upper shell off and inspect the runners fitment.. it's easy to assemble/disassemble.

if not, tony mamo should be able to tell from those pictures. he's spent countless hours starring at those runners..

Iv been thinking about sending it out to tony for some porting so I guess if it needs some work no better person to do it then him. I'm just trying to figure out if it's bad enough to call fast but I'll taker it apart tomorrow and try to reseat the runners before I call.

some times they come misaligned from FAST. What you need to do is separate the lower shell from the upper one and try to set the runners straight so they can match the port, they wont be 100% perfect unless you get a porting done to it, but you shouldn't have that big of a gap. here are a few pics of how mine came from fast, i also had the same thing happen to me until i got it ported..like i said try setting them straight as best as you can and you'll be good go.
