Whistling sound from rear of car (HELP!!!)

Whistling sound from rear of car (HELP!!!) Okay 2002 t/a. I've checked all of the vacuum lines today and can't find a leak anywhere. But now I hear the sound from the rear of the car. Is there a vacuum line in the rear of the car? Or am I completely nuts? But it sounds like a whistle when I rev up or accelerate.

no there isnt any vacuum lines back there.only evap to canister(maybe). if whistle is going on while driving check you gear oil to be sure level and type are correct.had plenty of cars and trucks come into the shop making noise that where low or had wrong fluid.

Sounds like your rear...Mine did the same, louder than the usual gear whine. I was a pint and a half short on gear oil. Took care of the loud whistle, but I still have a hint of the "normal" gear whine.
