Default Can I plug the vacuum port leading to the Air Diverter Valve?

Is it okay to plug the small vacuum port underneath the pressure sensor on the back of the intake? I guess it's usually connected to the air diverter valve on the drivers side valve cover.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer

Cool, thanks for your input. I'll go ahead and plug it since I don't have any heater controls using vacuum either (LS swap in a nova).
