Check out UMI for all of the above... http://www.umiperformance.com/

LCA's are Lower Control Arms. They are the 2 bars the connect the rear end to the frame and the panhard rod goes from one side of the axle to the other side of the frame. Here's a pic of my LCA's and PH rod. http://mycarpics.shutterfly.com/261

The panhard rod is the red bar going from the bottom driver side of the axle to the upper passenger side frame in my pic. (there's only one bar) The purpose for all of this is stiffer suspension. The stock LCA's and PH rod are stamped from the factory, The tubular pipes are stronger and have poly bushings.

ive herd that the rear ends wont last if you put drag radials on them, i have some money set a way for a tune already. but with my new cam and heads will i be ok to drive it around for a few weeks befor i get it tuned? im wanting to get the intake before getting tuned. and have plans for DR'S still think i dont have anything to worry about the rear end for now?

With heads and cam, a tune needs to happen real soon. And yeah auto transmissions are easier on the 10 bolt than manuals, but with the power you'll be at, chances are your 10 bolt will be on borrowed time regardless. So it would be a good idea to start setting aside some money for when it breaks.

Well, I am in the same situation right now. This is the 3rd set of gears in my car (stock, 4.10, 3.73)....and they are whining again.... bad. I have 58k miles on my car.

I am concidering: Strange 12b, S60 and maybe a M9. All very in price, but average around 2300-2500.00+ shipping. Each have their strong/weak points.

As some of the other posts, a tune should be first. You won't have to worry about your rear axle without a engine.

With an a4 you'll be ok on the rear. I'd put gears in it and start doin suspension so you can get all that power to the ground.

its not like its a MS4 or a Trex cam with patriot heads and a fast 102 combo. yes its heads and cam but i dont think its enough power to blow the rear end up the second he gets on it

Hold on one sec. Just to make sure, when you say "exhaust" you do mean headers ypipe and all right? If you have just a catback that is not going to cut it. Stock manifolds and Y will choke down most of the gains your new parts would get you.
