Default What's the size of a stock LS1 MAF?

I'm trying to acquire the parts I need for a 6.2L swap and while the TB will be larger (92mm), I'm looking at possibly putting on an 85mm MAF. Someone told me the stock LS1 MAF is 85mm, but I thought it was smaller.

Great... looks like I'll have to buy one.

is $150 for a used 85mm MAF a decent price or should I just spring for a new one?

Stock LS1 MAF is 75mm.
Stock LS6 MAF is 85mm.

It depends on the condition of the used 85mm. If it's slightly used and in mint condition $150 may not be too bad, but I think that's a high price for most.

Or you can grab any 2001 to 2004 MAF they are 85mm from a vette, like my stock one. 02 to 04 zo6s have 85mm MAF with no screens. I also removed my screen before my tune

My 99 silverado has the 85mm MAF as well. Do not spend more than $50 shipped for one.

It will require a tune as previously posted.

It's going on a 6.2L that'll have a cam. It'll be tuned anyway.

Dumb question... I'll be running an LS3 intake... a 4-bolt 92mm cable driven TB... is there a specific 85mm MAF I'll need or should a 3 or 4 bolt work either way?

if you're going to use the maf on ls3 why don't just use the ls3 MAF?

That's not a bad idea.

I wonder how much one will run me.

The problem I'm going to run into is that I'll be running my SCC airbox which has a very narrow opening. I'm guessing it's around 78mm, so there will be a huge bottleneck... which is why the size of the MAF wouldn't be THAT important, but I may just get an LS3 MAF and be done w/ it.
