Default About go to install Potz P&P TB; Anything I should know?

Hey guys, just got the TB in the mail.

Any tips on installing this, or is this a simple "remove stock TB, install new one"? I did not get the TB Bypass kit, or anything else, I just want to put the ported one in place of the stock one.

Thanks,
Kenny D

No problem, I just followed that and had no problems. It shouldn't be very hard at all.

If you haven't done it already, it's quite easy. Took me all of 20 min, and I work slow.

You'll just have to make sure you have some small torx bits to remove the sensor form your TB to transfer over to the new one, and while it's out you might as well clean it. I used CRC MAF cleaner, since that's what I had laying around.

I did the TB bypass on mine when I sawpped it, I didn't buy the "kit" I just bought a 3/8 dual sided barbed fitting from Home Depot. Cost like 3 bucks IIRC. Stock hoses were long enough to reach, and I reused the stock clamps.

Ah, actually I think Potz included the TB Bypass kit in the package. Unless that's something else, not sure (It looks like the same thing BMR has on their website)

I was going to install it, then of course something came up. Ah well, it's in the garage with the FTRA I also got today

Yep, that's the kit.

I just bought a 1' section of 3/8" heater hose myself and ran it straight from the radiator to the steam line. Looked cleaner.

Thanks whigham. I think he included it for free, you can't go wrong with free.

I can't seem to find where the hell the 20 and 25 Torx screwdrivers went. Damn garage eats tools!!!!
