On the 89 Camaro? I am assuming your 100% custom anyway so if they bolt up they should work. I am almost certain guys running the ls3 heads are using ls1 headers.

Yes they will bolt up, if they will clear your k member is a different story

Will they bolt on yes,should you try it..no.Doesnt fit our cars,you can use 4th gen manifolds or some aftermarket 4th gen shorties.Long tubes are pricey but there are longtube swap headers for 3rd gens.Do some research and you will find many options on size of tubes..mid lengths and longtubes.You will have yo make your own Y pipe or run duals..upto you.

the reason i ask is because im thinking of doing a twin turbo side mount. not to sound like a cocky sob, but i have the LS1 motor in my car for 6 years, running the stock manifolds with cats. I just installed the Hawks long tubes last year. Now i want to try something totally custom for a 3rd gen. but thanks for helping answer this question
