Default Muffler choice

Just got my swap finished up and have a break in tune on the car right now. Its tuned safely for 4 grand until the clutch it ready. I have a summit bullet (it was a last minute choice). I was wondering what you guys might recommend as far as a bullet style muffler........kinda thinking about a spiral flow to knock down some rasp. cam is a Ms3 with boltons and 1 7/8 headers, y-pipe

post vids if possible

I think since ur running a bullet type muffler , the only way to kill rasp is cats..i have the Magnaflow bullet in place of the LM1 and TSP catted Y, love it! , no rasp!! still on the loud side tho..

Same here man! Except I have the TSP Rumbler which came with the Dynomax bullet instead of the LM1 resonator. I replaced my Dynomax bullet for the Magnaflow bullet and I love the way it sounds now. I would definitely go with the Magnaflow bullet or Borla XR-1 bullet

That's why I didn't go with the Borla lol, but I'm very pleased with the Magnaflow. People always confuse Magnaflow with quiet but since this is a bullet it still is pretty loud, just has a better "loud tone" per say than a lm1 resonator. I have it in the i-pipe and it has a tad bit of rasp but I think of it as "good rasp," it's a real deep grumble and pops just a little before it shifts around 2200 rpms (a4) but not an obnoxious, continuing jackhammer sound, and then at WOT theres no rasp at all. I like it a lot better than the Dynomax bulet that came with the catback.

IMO, Magnaflow #12867 (3" in/out, 5" dia., 14" case L)and it's only $93, and just as good as a Borla #40085 that cost $130.

Umm yes you can, Ive seen a few examples of cars with your setup running duals. But if you must stay with a single muffler get the Magnaflow, the spiralflows in a single setup rob people of double digit numbers on the dyno
