Default Lq4 short block what balancer?

I have a stock bottom end LQ4 in my 99 trans am with all the stock LS1 accessories. What balancer should I use? I used the stock LS1 balancer but it has come loose and spun on the crank. Bolt was touqued to spec bolt was loose and backed out. Help guys.

Use the F-body balancer, either a new stocker or an aftermarket with the same offset. There should be some pretty stout interference on the fit. Since it spun though, you may need some special "sleeve" locktite.

Thanks man. I checked the crank. I think the balancer got the worst of it.
