Default Clutch

Ok I have a 99 trans am LS1 and a t56 from either a 99 or a 2000. The transmission came with a slave cylinder. I bought a 2007 Ls7 z06 clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, And a slave cylinder. Which slave cylinder would be better to use. I rather keep the one in there and not use the z06 slave. Is that going to be ok?

Should I post a pic of both? Does it matter which one I use if they are physically the same size?

I would always use a new slave cylinder when changing the clutch. Do you have the part number for the new one? Vettes and F-bodies do appear to have different part numbers for the GM slave.
