Default Ford 42s

Aloha gang.
My 28lb injectors are to small for my set up. Tuner recommends ford 42lb injectors. Any modification to get them to fit? Are they reliable?
Thanks for any tips

I personally vote for the Pontiac 3.8 supercharged injectors. Hell, there's a set in the classifieds right now WITH a fuel rail for 200 IIRC

They are white, part # 0280155811

Hope this helps.

You can find 8 on ebay. Mine came cleaned with new orings and filter baskets, sonic cleaned, flowmatched within 2%, the whole 9 yards for $120 shipped. After I started pricing the Ford's I wasn't happy.

On the upside, they're Bosch, and I didn't have to say anything related to Ford

The greentops are reliable, and direct plug and play. The only thing NEEDED is a tune to adjust for the bigger injectors.

Im personally running 30# injectors in both of our cars, and bought em brand new for about 200.00 each set. They are only 30#s at the Ford fuel pressure, dont remember how much they flow at the LS1 pressure. Theres nothing really Ford about em, honestly. Just the box they come in. Mine are all Bosch injectors. Only reason I didnt go bigger, is I have no need. These will cover my heads/cam car, so Im good.

BTW, youll get more/better responses if you post this in the fueling section.

42lb injectors at LS1 pressure is going to flow a lot of fuel. ford 30lb injectors at LS1 pressure flows around 36lbs.

The Bosch injectors I'm talking about are 42# @ LS1 pressure of 58psi
