Default intake question

The foam piece under the intake, do I use the same thing when replacing the stock intake with a fast 90? If so what's the part # for it and where do I get it at

Yes you can get them from the dealership... But I think they are more than what WS6 store sells the FelPro kit for... Just buy these... You will have extra gaskets plus you will be buying from our sponsors... Forget the Stealership.

Yes. All these engines need that foam under the intake to reduce noise from the engine from what I've been told and read on this forum. Throw those under ther and you will be fine. Do u already have the LS6 coolant line and the button head bolts for the valley? You will also need to swap those. what year car do u have?

It's reduces engine noise. And vibration to the knock sensors. They will read inaccurate and throw codes with vibrations... This is what I have read here on Tech from a few different threads. I have not experienced this 1st hand.

Yes 2win_ss, I already have the new coolant lines and the intake came with all new gaskets, bolts, valley cover bolts and tb bolts. I paid more than I wanted to for it but it came with everything new and its fully ported.

please go ahead and install them even if it would cost you some $$ it is better than doing the whole intake twice...ive been there once and will never go on without those pads. the noise was unbelievable...some had no noise without the pads. but i did TWICE. i got mine from ebay. they come with the gaskets too..you can even make your own.
