Default guage mounting

Not sure where to post a guage topic so I'll start here. Does anyone have guages mounted outside the car? Like out on the winshield cowl for example. Any suggestions or pics? Also, Is it ok to mount mechanical nitrous and fuel pressure guages inside the car?

get a pillar gauge mount, i have a single pod for my trans temp there. if i had something to hold it, i also thought about mounting a gauge in that place right above the ashtray right below the A/C controls.

I thought that's what isolators were for. No fuel inside the cabin.
