It has happened to people. Lube up the bolts with PB Blaster or the like and let them soak. Of course it won't penetrate into the head, but it can't hurt. And then when you put the wrench on them, apply the torque gently and gradually ... good luck.

There are some very tight and difficult to get in to spots, but you gotta keep your wrench as straight as possible as well. My car was bone stock up until 2 months ago, and I did happen to break one header bolt. My car had 110,000 on it. Got lucky the head broke off the stud, and it stuck out like a 1/4" from the head and was easy to remove. But its easier to do than people like to admit. Just take your time, and be careful.

If a bolt gets tight coming out don't force it,get some PB on it and tighten it back up a bit and then try to remove it.

Mine had 122,000 on it when I did the headers.

When I put some on my 98 Z it had over 200,000 miles on it. The bolts came off very easy.

soak them with pb blaster a few days prior to doing the install. it may be a good idea to use new bolts when installing the headers as well. and make SURE you're not cross-threading the bolts when you tighten them. it's easy to do because the holes on the header flange may not 100% lined up to the head so it'll feel like there's resistance. other than that, miliage isn't an issue.

just pb blaster the **** outta the bolts a few days before you do it and let it soak in. just take your time and you should be good to go. when you go to put them back in put a little anti-seize on the bolts.

Also, this gives you the opportunity to replace motor/trans mounts.
