Default ws6 bottom air box does fit under firehawk hood

ok so I did alot of searching on here and could not really find a definite answer on whether or not the ws6 bottom air box would fit under the firehawk hood with the blackwing lid so I decided if anyone was unsure this would answer that. it looks amazing too

This is in fact my first mod. Next I was planning to maybe debaffle my hood but I find it hard to make permanent changes to this thing

Car looks great man. I think I know who you got the lower box from lol. As for debaffling the hood, I bought my car with it debaffled so I cant really give you a comparison. You know that car is going to be modded to hell before its over with lol.

I have a question... On a Trans am WS6, what intake manifold is that? Is it a LS1 or an LS6 manifold?? What type of motor is in the WS6??? (I basically want to know if the WS6 intake is worth buying for my 4.8 swap?????)

WS6 motor is same LS1 as any 98-02 z28, TA, SS etc etc. 01-02 models had the LS6 intake. 98-00 had LS1 intakes.

^^^ what he said about the intakes. But some 01-02 had LS6 blocks... Not the whole engine. Just block. You would have to check your block numbers to confirm if is a LS1 or LS6.

I see deals all the time on LS1 intakes.. I was wondering, are the HP gains much more greater with the LS6 over the LS1?? All this time I am using waiting to find a deal on a LS6, I wonder can I just go ahead and get an LS1 intake and still be just as happy with it..

Here is what I plan on doing..

4.8L, LS6 springs, LS6 cam, 243 heads, 92mm tb, and on 3 76mm ebay hairdryer..
