Default Turndowns pointed down or angled out?

I'm putting some turndowns on my cutouts. Is there a sound difference in them pointing straight down at the ground or angled out towards the side of the car?

Down will cause even more reverberation and drone, out will help clean up the sound a little.

More importantly, angled out will stir up less dust and trash in parking lots and things.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I was looking for. Since they're just on my cutouts I'm going to run them straight down and hopefully vibrate everything around when they're open.

I angles my duals (dumped at axle) at 45* and can say I have less drone in the car than when I had my MagnaMouth.

I agree angle them out for a little better sound, and less drone.

I'm not worried about drone. It's on my dual cutouts that I'll pretty much only use at the track or just idling around.

I prefer them down, they throw dust under the car instead out on people. Plus it blends the sound of the two sides of the engine better IMO.
