Default Misfire on cylinder 4....out of ideas

I recently acquired a 2000 SS 6spd so that I can retire my t/a as a fun only show car. Yay! Right? Wrong.
The car keeps intermittently misfiring on cylinder 4, it will run perfect then suddenly misfire like crazy and set the flashing ses light a few miles later it will run perfect again.
I've replaced plug, wire, fuel injector and swapped coils.
Any ideas guys?

I have not, I figured if it was valvetrain related it would run bad all the time.

Have you checked the Ignition control wire for cylinder 4, from the pcm connector to the coil bank connector, and to the coil connector ?

I haven't checked wires yet, I'm thinking its something electrical as well. Is there a good site for wiring schematics that you know of?

Same thing happened to my car it would run perfect then randomly start missing then go back to running fine pulled the valve cover everything looked fine couple months later it started knocking in the head it had a bent valve and eventually broke a valve spring and bent the pushrod. Slapped some new heads on it now its good

Check continuity on the injector wiring for that cylinder. I have a few wires break inside the insulation on my old car. I checked continuity from the connector back to the PCM. As i would wiggle the connector it would lose continuity. Replaced the connector/pigtail and it was cured. This can happen if the car has been worked on a bit from pulling on the injector wiring. There are only about 4 strands of very thin copper inside these.
