Default KU Coolant Vent system, anyone runnin it?

So who's running this water vapor system instead of the old LS1 style, or the block off in the rear. I like the way it all ties into a water block, and then the outlet back to the radiator..... I have one on the way for my new build.

Yea I know how the search function works . If you can show me the thread where this exact setup was discussed would appreciate it, I must have missed it.

First I've seen it. That looks pretty nice, actually.

In for the details.

Yeah haven't seen that one before, its nice but most would just need it for the rear, not front. It's some what similar to the one from KRC, which is what I put on my rear steam vents.

I looked into this...too expensive for something I can make with barb fittings and some rubber hose.

^^ true, but a billet block and steet braided -AN lines is worth it in My opinion, i hope it will mount to the side of my 102 i dont want that **** sitting ontop of my intake!

Even pieced together with lines and fittings from the Jegs catalog would still be cheaper than this kit.

Not by much. $60 for (4) -4AN water pipe fittings to go into the heads
$24 for 6ft -4AN braided hose
$13ea. for (4) -4AN hose fittings
Thats Summit prices

That right there is $136 not including some type of block or T fitting to tie all 4 lines together So for the extra few buck and to not have to buy all the separte pieces i dont thinks its too much to ask, then again if you are on a budget, then by all means just go with cheap heater hose and barbed fittings. or keep the original block offs

Is there enough material on the heads to drill/tap for NPT flare-nut style fittings...?

Yea you can do that, but for me, i would not risk messing up my expensive AFR heads doing that and would just spend the 60-70 bucks on the premade -4AN fittings for the heads

I know 1 guy here running them with good success thus far. The "KUP" emblem looks a bit stupid IMO.

It's a 4-corner replacement for the stock 2-corner steam vents.
