Slight Rear End Build Advice
Hey ive got a slight build on my 2002 TA, i have a TSP 228R cam with 112 LSA, and stage 5 RPM transmission build -- T56, but now dont want to dump 3000$ into a Rear at this point, yet i want to do minor upgrades to the stock 10 bolt, im not a weekend drag racer, but i tend to stand on the gas when i see a new 5.0 mustang and slam gears..
so far ive thought about a 3.73 gears, and some kind of hardened axles with the most spline i can get out of a 10 bolt set up (28?)
what else are some weak points in the rear, and some reliable upgrades?

Don't waist your money. Even with upgrades you'll break your rear end if you launch hard on drag radials. If all you have are street tire's I wouldn't worry about it. Also 3.73 gear's would hardly be a noticeable change from your stock 3.42's, save your money and get a 9inch with at least 4.10's. Buy the time you buy gears, axle's, an install kit, a HD diff cover, and labor you'll be over a $1000 into a rear end that still wont hold up to even a stock M6 car with drag radials.

hey sorry man, i will have to search more for the rear end section, thanks.
well, im not trying to go up in much power until i drop a new engine and going to obviously need a 9", but until then i was thinkin strengthening the weak points. but still, after reading the thread posted, i guess its not worth spending time, i would be doing it myself but its doesnt really strengthen it past 500 hp
