I need to measure the larger portions diameter of an LS 4th gen's EGR tube as seen below. I simply don't have one! Thanks!

I came up with 1-5/32" or 29.5mm .

Hey, if your going to drill a hole to mount the EGR tube I'd go with 1-1/8", then if needed slightly sand/file the hole if needed.

I've an SLP LS6 manifold and things are just NOT measuring up! I've a baseball game to get to right now, but I'll post more later.

How about the skinner part of the EGR tube? Could you measure that part please? None of this makes sense, but like I said I'll post more later!

Rob, if you're looking to remove the EGR stuff and plug up the hole in the LS1 intake manifold, get part number 12558346 from any GM parts counter.

So here's the deal - I have an SLP LS6 intake, but don't need the EGR provision so I decided to sell it. This way someone who needs it will get it, and I can buy a regular LS6.

The outer diameter of the EGR fitting is 1" and the inner is 3/4". However the SLP instructions say to cut off the LOWER portion of the EGR tube and insert the UPPER part into the manifold fitting.

Problem I see is that the upper part of the tube is 1 5/32" when the inner diameter of the port is only 3/4". Inserting the lower part of the tube would work, but is it possible the instructions are wrong and it was never caught?!?!

Here's from the SLP install manual:
