just FYI: logged car after bolt-ons
99 ws6 m6
before:
whisper lid
ory
fm 80 series
solid 12.6 AFR across the board
29* timing, 0 knock
after adding longtubes, ory, fm 10 bolted in factory location (still factory i/ota pipe), and chrs1313 nonac ram air
started pull @ 2800 and had 2* knock immediately. went to 4 around 3400 and 6 @ 4k...continued 6* to 6200.
afr was 13.2 @ 2800. saw 13.6 @ 3400ish. then went 14.0 @ 4k and ended up 14.7 @ 6200.
just thought i'd share the information. the car had a VERY NOTICEABLE response to the addition of fuel. i'm fairly certain the ram air had a lot to do with the afr going through the roof. we did these pulls in 3rd gear.
after further tinkering we made 2 fourth gear pulls and ended up with an afr right around 13.0 and 2* knock 58-6200.
due to no daylight, time constraints, and the laptop dying we had to stop. so we pulled 2* of timing and flashed it. we will log/tune more after i get an ls6 intake on the car.
