I know about the sticky but every car posted there has headers/cat-back but my car is bone stock this is why I'm posting here.

What is the best sounding muffler with and absolutely stock exhaust system?

Car is 2000 C5 is that matters.

Sound is very subjective. I heard a C5 that I am pretty sure had the Borla Stinger setup. Wasn't super loud, so I am betting it wasn't heavily modified, and I really liked it. Corsa, B&B, and Borla seem to be real popular with the Corvette crowd.

My friend has dual electric cut-outs on his 2003 C5, and I will say to this day that it is the most sick sounding car ever! But he also has a mild Heads and cam package (224/224)

I thought that the Borla Stingers were the best sounding exhaust I ever heard also...until I heard the GHL Bullets for the Corvette. WOW is all I can say! I think the GHL Bullets got the Stingers beat IMO.

Stinger's are still a awesome sounding exhaust though.

My dad's FRC c5 has Borla Stingers and everything else is stock and it sounds soooooo good!
