Default How can I get a good seal on a lid

I have a home made cai designed just like slps and fast toys and want to know the best way to effectively seal it and have it professional looking.

I put weather stripping in mine. If you go to Home Depot or Lowes they have a good selection of different sizes. Just figure out how much you'll need, thickness, ect... Mine is sealed really well but you need to take the time to do it right, get the right thickness and cut the weather stripping well. If you just go buy whatever thickness and slap it on there like hugger said, you will have gaps.

i went to menards today and did a decent job around the front but now i have about a 1 inch gap between the actual intake device going left and right towards the airbox..not safe to put weatherstripping around a radiator?
